David L. Smith, P.E. organized Smith & Associates Engineering Consultants in 1978 and provided mechanical and electrical engineering throughout its eighteen years. In early 1996 the firm was reorganized as Smith-Goth Engineers, Inc., adding Norman E. Goth, P.E. as co-owner.
