Since 1994, SGE has developed a partnership in design with one of the fastest growing retail automotive parts distributors in America, O’Reilly Auto Parts, Inc. O’Reilly Auto Parts began in 1957 and had grown to include nine stores in Southwest Missouri with a 52,000 square foot warehouse located in Springfield by 1977. The next 25 years saw that number mushroom to over 900 stores and nine
distribution centers in 16 States.
SGE has proudly provided mechanical, electrical, and plumbing
engineering, as well as, site utilities development on over 300 retail store locations in Alabama, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas,
Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Texas. In addition, SGE has provided services for Distribution Centers in Iowa, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Texas, as well as, numerous in-fills, remodels, relocations, and additions as required.
Occasional “special needs” projects have required innovative
solutions and include:
- Relocation of the O’Reilly National Headquarters Fleet Maintenance Machine Shop.
- Design/Addition of 300KW emergency diesel generator/auto
transfer-disconnects system
for each of the three floors of O’reilly National Headquarters
Offices.
