David L. Smith, P.E. organized Smith & Associates Engineering Consultants in 1978 and provided mechanical and electrical engineering throughout its eighteen years. In early 1996 the firm was reorganized as Smith-Goth Engineers, Inc., adding Norman E. Goth, P.E. as co-owner.
Smith-Goth Engineers has been approved to keep Jefferson Avenue between Walnut Lawn and Primrose Street clean and attractive. The City of Springfield has erected signs on either end of this stretch of roadway.
